CUNCOLIM, July 3 -- Three family members of the BJP MLA from Salcete tested positive for COVID-19.
The MLA's wife, son and sister tested positive, while the reports of the other family members came negative.
The infected family members have been shifted to COVID Hospital. It may be recalled that on Wednesday the BJP MLA tested positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the MLA's staff and supporters heaved a sigh of relief as their test reports came negative.
Many supporters and staff members had come in contact with the MLA.
The Cuncolim Municipal Council (CMC) officials and some councillors, who had also met the MLA had to undergo tests and the results of the same are awaited.
