U.S., March 20 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT06883188) titled 'Stop Air Leak by Talc or Autologous Blood Patch Therapy' on March 08.
Brief Summary: Objectives: To compare the therapeutic efficacy and safety profiles of intrapleural talc pleurodesis versus autologous blood patch therapy(ABPT) in patients with secondary spontaneous pneumothorax(SSP) complicated by persistent air leak(PAL), and to assess the trial feasibility for a subsequent full-scale, multicentre randomised controlled trial(RCT).
