Brief Summary: Patients with cancer are at high risk for life-threatening venous thromboembolism (VTE) yet rarely receive anticoagulant prophylaxis due to bleeding risks. Thus, effective prophylaxis in oncology requires a method to reduce VTE without increasing hemorrhage.
