Brief Summary: Inguinal hernia repair is one of the most commonly performed surgical procedures. It is generally performed under regional anesthesia techniques, such as local anesthesia, peripheral nerve blocks, or neuraxial anesthesia (spinal or epidural anesthesia), or under general anesthesia.
