Brief Summary: Central Nervous System (CNS) infections are considered rare conditions but at the same time, they are emergencies whose diagnosis and treatment are time-dependent. They include several clinical syndromes, including meningitis, encephalitis, brain abscesses, and post-surgical meningitis.
