U.S., March 12 -- ClinicalTrials.gov registry received information related to the study (NCT06870734) titled 'General Anesthesia Versus Loco-Regional Anesthesia for Transcarotid Trancatheter Aortic Valve Replacement' on March 06.

Brief Summary: Transcarotid transcatheter aortic valve replacement (Transcarotid TAVR) has been increasingly used as an alternative to the transfemoral approach. The general anesthesia, locoragional anesthesia or local anesthesia are three anesthesia techniques that can be used for transcarotid TAVR. We aim to compare the locoregional approach to gerneral anesthesia.
