Brief Summary: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is one of the most common birth defects and an important cause of infant morbidity and mortality. Many children with CHD also have underlying genetic abnormalities, particularly chromosomal abnormalities, which may affect their prognosis, management, and counseling.
