Brief Summary: Common bile duct stones (CBDS) may be asymptomatic but can cause pancreatitis, obstructive jaundice, and/or cholangitis. In Sweden, intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) is usually performed during gallstone surgery in order to detect CBDS and proactively extract them.
