Brief Summary: This randomized controlled trial was conducted at the Department of Medicine and Diabetes of Mayo Hospital/King Edward Medical University, Lahore, over one year. A total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes and normal serum uric acid were randomly assigned to two groups: Group A received allopurinol with lisinopril, and Group B received lisinopril alone.
