Brief Summary: Coeliac disease (CD) is an immune-mediated enteropathy leading to small intestinal mucosal atrophy. Diagnosis relies on serology and duodenal biopsies, but it can be complicated by patchy lesions and differential diagnosis with Non-Celiac Enteropathies (NCEs).
