Brief Summary: Iatrogenic Pulmonary Parenchymal chest Tube (PPcT) placement is a recognized but underreported complication of tube thoracostomy, described both in the subcontinent and worldwide. This complication occurs when the chest tube inadvertently traverses the pleural cavity and penetrates the lung parenchyma.
