Monrovia, May 28 -- Liberia and the United Kingdom have reflected on the importance of their rich historic ties, as a critical impetus to strengthening democracy while advancing the economic interests of both nations.
They emphasized the need to define new paths to their bilateral relations that can be traced to the United Kingdom being the first nation to recognize Liberia's independence.
