Monrovia, May 7 -- The Government of Liberia has signed a major port modernization agreement with Tanger Med Engineering, a subsidiary of Morocco's internationally recognized Tanger Med Port Authority, aimed at overhauling the Freeport of Monrovia and the Port of Buchanan.
The agreement, finalized in Tangier, marks a significant step in Liberia's efforts to elevate its maritime infrastructure to international standards.
The deal is anchored on a comprehensive Master Plan developed through technical collaboration between Liberia's National Port Authority (NPA) and Tanger Med Engineering.
