Monrovia, May 16 -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has confirmed the arrest of Eric Sumo, a 51-year-old Liberian national, wanted in Liberia for alleged involvement in serious document fraud crimes, including the possession and manufacturing of fraudulent U.S. visas.
Sumo was apprehended on April 21 during a routine immigration enforcement operation conducted by the Washington, D.C. field office of ICE in Fairfax County, Virginia. Authorities say Sumo was illegally residing in the United States at the time of his arrest.
