Monrovia, April 22 -- In a formal statement issued under the signature of its National Secretary General, Cllr. Bornor M. Varmah, the Bar underscored the need for voters to act responsibly as the country seeks to strengthen its democratic credentials.
The by-election is expected to fill a vacant Senate seat in one of Liberia's most politically active counties.
"As Liberia continues to consolidate its democratic credentials, it is imperative that all eligible voters in Nimba County exercise their rights responsibly, peacefully, and in full respect of the rule of law," the LNBA stated.
