Monrovia, Feb. 23 -- The Ministry of Justice has opened an immediate investigation into a leaked video from Monrovia Central Prison that officials say violated the rights of inmates and may have breached prison regulations.

The footage, widely circulated on social media, reportedly shows Justin Oldpa Yeazeahn, known publicly as Prophet Key, interacting with other inmates inside the prison shop.

The Supreme Court sentenced Prophet Key to six months in prison for criminal contempt. The Court declared: "His conduct in spewing out invectives, insults, abuses, and indecent language constitutes a violation of the constitutional right to freedom of expression."
