Monrovia, July 15 -- Liberia has reaffirmed its dedication to disability inclusion and global human rights, making a strong case for tangible progress during the 18th Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), held from June 8 to July 8, 2025, at the UN Headquarters in New York.

The country was represented by the Executive Director of the National Commission on Disabilities (NCD), Samuel Dean, who used the platform to highlight Liberia's national achievements and call for stronger international action toward empowering persons with disabilities.
