Monrovia, June 25 -- The Women's Legislative Caucus of Liberia has condemned the alleged rape and brutal murder of Ciannah Goe, a Liberian woman who recently returned home from Canada.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Goe's newly constructed residence in Marshall, Margibi County.
In a statement issued by the Chairperson of the Women's Legislative Caucus, Representative Ellen Attoh-Wreh of Margibi County Electoral District 3, the group expressed deep sorrow over the killing and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
"It is particularly tragic that the victim, a Liberian citizen who had recently returned home from Canada, met such an untimely and violent end," the Caucus stated.
