Monrovia, March 14 -- Former Liberian President George Weah has congratulated Patrice Motsepe on his re-election as President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), a post he secured unopposed.

However, Weah did not acknowledge the recent achievement of Mustapha Raji, President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), who was re-elected to the CAF Executive Committee.
While serving as president in March 2021, Weah publicly congratulated Raji for his appointment, commending his leadership and the progress made under his tenure.
