Monrovia, Feb. 16 -- United States based Liberian Human rights advocate, Cllr Lawrence Wah Jackson, has welcomed the ruling of the Supreme Court of Liberia sentencing Prophet Key to six months' imprisonment along with an order for a public apology, describing the decision as a positive step toward restoring respect, accountability, and moral responsibility within Liberia.
In an official statement issued today, Cllr. Jackson noted that the Court's decision reinforces public confidence in the judicial system and safeguards the dignity of Liberians, particularly women who are often targets of public ridicule and harmful speech.
