Margibi, March 11 -- For the third time in two months, unknown individuals have set fire to parts of the Salala Rubber Corporation (SRC) plantation in Margibi County.

The latest arson attack occurred on Sunday night, causing significant damage to the company's rubber trees and raising serious economic concerns for both the business and the surrounding community.

According to reports, the fire was quickly contained by SRC's fire service team and local community members. However, eyewitnesses reported hearing gunshots as the attackers set fires in various sections of the plantation.
