Liberia, Feb. 2 -- Controversy is brewing following a Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) raid in Pleebo City, after the family of a Nigerian national arrested during the operation alleged that LR100,000 and US6,000 were not returned.Madam Shirley Bohlen, wife of the primary suspect, told reporters that when LDEA personnel entered their home, they demanded that all cash be declared. She said she initially presented LR100,000, which officers counted in her presence.

According to her, the officers then insisted she search for any additional money, and under pressure, she revealed US6,000, which she said was intended for her husband's travel. She claims the initial L100,000 was never returned.
