Monrovia, Feb. 3 -- President Joseph Boakai last week dismissed the Deputy Managing Director for Administration Prince S. Bonnah and Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services Alex Railey from the National Housing Authority, following allegations of financial misconduct.

The decision to remove the two senior officials was based on a resolution submitted to the Board of Directors, which relied on findings from an investigation committee that cited violations of the Public Financial Management Regulations of 2009.

Although no specific timeline was provided regarding when the Board reached its decision, both officials were relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
