Monrovia, Feb. 5 -- Representative Kortor Kwagrue of Nimba County's District #5 has launched a major road rehabilitation project across several towns and villages, bringing much-needed relief to residents long plagued by poor infrastructure.
The farm-to-market road initiative targets the rugged terrains of Buutuo and surrounding areas, where muddy, pothole-riddled paths have for years isolated farmers from markets, forcing them to haul produce on foot or dilapidated vehicles during the rainy season.
''This project will slash travel times, boost crop sales, and end the continuous suffering our people endure," Rep. Kwagrue stated during a recent groundbreaking ceremony attended by hundreds of cheering locals.
