Monrovia, Feb. 23 -- The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), has officially inaugurated the nation's first comprehensive Value Added Tax (VAT) Awareness Campaign.
The initiative marks the beginning of a multi-year transition designed to overhaul Liberia's domestic resource mobilization strategy.
The campaign was formally launched at the LRA headquarters on Friday, February 20, 2026 by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan.
