Monrovia, Jan. 27 -- The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP) and with funding from the World Bank, has distributed livelihood equipment to women-led enterprises and farmer-based organizations in Gbangay Town and Molowamu Town, Bokomu District, Gbarpolu County.

The distribution forms part of LWEP's grant support aimed at strengthening women's economic activities. According to Emmanuel Green, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for LWEP, the equipment provided was requested directly by beneficiaries based on their specific livelihood needs and in line with project guidelines.
