Monrovia, Sept. 17 -- The MelPat Foundation, a community-based humanitarian organization in Barnersville Lulu Pennoh Community, has extended a gesture of goodwill to Jehu Albert Beh, a Liberian battling stroke and high blood pressure for several years.
As part of its outreach, the foundation donated five bags of 25kg rice and ten thousand Liberian dollars (LD$10,000) to Mr. Beh to help ease the economic and health challenges he continues to face.
The presentation was made by the foundation's Mobilization Chairman, Dexter D. Davies Sr., who emphasized that the gesture was consistent with MelPat Foundation's mission of uplifting disadvantaged citizens.
