Monrovia, Sept. 25 -- The Lutheran Church in Liberia (LCL) has publicly expressed its support for its Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. G. Victor Padmore, following his indictment by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) in connection with alleged financial irregularities at Lofa County University (LCU).

In a statement issued on Wednesday, September 24, the LCL said Bishop Padmore is committed to submitting himself to the judicial process to clear his name. The church reaffirmed its dedication to accountability, transparency, and the rule of law, urging speedy adjudication to ensure all accused persons face due process.
