Monrovia, July 22 -- The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has charged a Liberian woman, Quita Dolo Kosso, in connection with the trafficking of over US$181,000 worth of cocaine.
The agency has forwarded the case to the Roberts International Airport Magisterial Court for prosecution.
Kosso, 39, was arrested on July 12, 2025, after arriving in Liberia on Kenya Airways Flight KQ887 from Bangkok, Thailand. She was apprehended at the Roberts International Airport (RIA) at around 6:00 PM, after LDEA officers discovered 3.355 kilograms of cocaine concealed in her possession.
