Monrovia, Feb. 13 -- The House Committees on Health and Judiciary have been charged to lead a process that would result to the enactment of a law that seeks to provide employment opportunities, inclusion and support for people living with disabilities.

Plenary took the decision Thursday, February 12, 2026 during the 10th day sitting of the first quarter of the 3rd session of the 55th Legislature.

The decision was prompted by the submission of an Act titled: "An Act to Provide for the Inclusion, Employment and Support of Persons with Disability within the Republic of Liberia, 2026" by Montserrado County Electoral District 1 Representative, Rugie Yatu Barry.
