Monrovia, Jan. 28 -- The Government of Liberia(GoL), in a high-level partnership with the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), has officially launched the National Food Safety Assessment Report.

The move is being hailed as a major milestone in strengthening food safety governance, protecting public health, and breaking down barriers for Liberian food products in the global market.

The launch ceremony, held Tuesday at a local resort in Mamba Point, brought together senior government officials, development partners, regulatory heads, and private sector actors to dissect a report that many hope will revolutionize how Liberians consume and trade food.
