Monrovia, Feb. 12 -- The Auditor General of Liberia, Mr. P. Garswa Jackson, has revealed the unprecedented undertakings of the General Auditing Commission (GAC) under his belt as head of the nation's supreme auditing institution (SAI).

The GAC boss publicized that for the first time in the nation's history, the Commission has audited the Office of the President of Liberia, the Liberian Senate, and is nearing completion of the House Representatives' audit.

Speaking on Tuesday, February 8, 2026 at occasion making the launch of a five-year 2026-2030 Strategic Plan of the GAC, Mr. Jackson pointed out that these efforts are aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in public governance.
