Monrovia, March 7 -- Former President George Manneh Weah has donated food items and cash to various mosques across Montserrado County in observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The donation, which began on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, is expected to continue for the next week.

The donation included ten bags of rice, five cartons of fish, five cartons of chicken, 15 cases of water and soft drinks, and $300 in cash per mosque. These items were distributed to several mosques to support the Muslim community during their fasting and prayer period.

Aworna Clarke, a member of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) Disciplinary Committee, presented the donation on behalf of the former President.
