Monrovia, April 24 -- The ruling, which upheld a Bill of Information filed by the Minority Bloc led by House Speaker J. Fonati Koffa, struck down attempts by the so-called Majority Bloc to assert legislative dominance.
Ballout commended the Supreme Court for what he described as a "clear and unambiguous" interpretation of the law.
"I congratulate the Supreme Court for upholding the Constitution," Ballout said. "Now it is expected that the Senate, the self-proclaimed Majority Bloc, and the Minister of Justice will publicly accept the ruling. The Executive must move swiftly to implement the Court's decision."
