Monrovia, March 11 -- The head of the Supreme Council for Fatwa of Liberia, Sheikh Abubakar Sumaworo, has called on members of the Muslim community in Liberia to strictly adhere to the rules governing the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In an exclusive interview with FrontPage Africa, Sheikh Sumaworo emphasized that Ramadan is a sacred period for all Muslims, including Liberian Muslims, and should be observed with the utmost devotion.
"It is the obligation of every Muslim to remain focused not only on the rules of Ramadan but also on the broader principles of Islam," he stated.
