Monrovia, Jan. 22 -- As political tensions intensify in Grand Bassa County ahead of Liberia's 2029 general and presidential elections, Senator Gbehzohngar M. Findley, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Revenue, has cast doubt on whether he will support Senate Pro Tempore Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence's potential re-election bid.

Both Findley and Lawrence represent Grand Bassa County in the 55th National Legislature, and their long-simmering political rivalry appears to be resurfacing.
