Monrovia, Feb. 3 -- Boima S. Kamara, the newly appointed Director General of the West African Monetary Agency (WAMA) and two-time Finance Minister of Liberia, has pledged to leverage his new position to enhance Liberia's economic capacity, particularly in areas of research, evidence generation, and fiscal policy.

Kamara made the commitment during a recent courtesy visit to Liberia's Finance and Development Planning Minister, Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan, in Monrovia.

He was accompanied by the outgoing Acting Director General of WAMA and a Senior Economist.
