GBARNGA, Nov. 3 -- One major obstacle that could undermine Edward Karfiah's rumored 2029 senatorial bid is his failure to reconcile with key political allies who played pivotal roles in his 2023 senatorial election.
Questions are now being raised about how and why Karfiah has fallen out with some of his strongest backers - former Senator Henry Yallah, Jonah Togbah, District Three Representative Marvin Cole, and former Deputy Speaker Tokpah J. Mulbah. These individuals were instrumental in helping him secure over 56,000 votes in the 2023 senatorial election.
Political observers believe that if Karfiah and Senator Prince Moye were to face off in 2029, several of these former allies would likely throw their weight behind Moye instead.
