Monrovia, Feb. 24 -- A dispute over job demands has heightened tensions between Deputy Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Cornelia Kruah Togba and Obediah Kormon, a supporter of the Unity Party.

Minister Togba addressed allegations from Kormon, clarifying that his calls for a presidential appointment were not driven by unemployment, but a personal request for a higher government position.

She revealed that Kormon had persistently pressured her for a government role and had even assaulted her multiple times in his pursuit.
