Monrovia, April 9 -- Alexander Cummings, the political leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), has formally endorsed Madam Edith Gongloe-Weh for the upcoming Nimba County senatorial by-election.

Speaking at the ANC headquarters in Congo Town on Tuesday, Cummings emphasized that the ANC stands firmly behind Gongloe-Weh, the only female candidate in the race, and vowed to campaign for her to secure the vacant Senate seat following the death of Senator Prince Johnson.
