Monrovia, June 18 -- Roberto R. Cooper, Chairperson of the Liberia National Children Representative Forum, has called on the Government of Liberia to increase budgetary support and take urgent action to protect, educate, and empower the country's children.

Cooper made the call during the joint celebration of the Day of the African Child and the World Day Against Child Labor, held on June 17 at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Monrovia.
