Monrovia, May 12 -- In a country where poverty, cultural norms, and gender inequality continue to obstruct girls' access to education, the Center for Justice and Peace Studies (CJPS) is leading a pivotal effort to uplift adolescent girls and young women across Liberia. With support from international development partner Bread for the World, CJPS is implementing a comprehensive program in 21 schools across Bong, Margibi, and rural Montserrado Counties. So far, 315 girls are being reached through girl-led advocacy clubs, mentorship, father involvement initiatives, and direct material aid.
