Monrovia, Oct. 16 -- The Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), under the leadership of its Commissioner General, Col. Elijah F. Rufus, strongly warns all immigration officers across the country to desist from engaging in political or politically related activities that could compromise the neutrality and professional integrity of the institution.

The Administration reminds all personnel that participation in political discussions, campaigns, or affiliations is strictly prohibited under the LIS Act of 2016 and the LIS Code of Conduct, which govern the professional behavior of all officers of the Service.
