Monrovia, April 4 -- The disqualification letter, dated April, was signed by the EMB Secretary General, Raymond Jerbo, and approved by the EMB Chairman, Mr. Andrew Garley. Also endorsing the decision were EMB advisor Kollie Manwen and Bertina Zeon, a member of the EMB.

Despite the clear academic requirements, rumors have begun circulating that the Vice President of the school, Dr. Rudolph Borpleh, is allegedly pressuring the EMB to allow Dekpah to remain in the race. These allegations claim that Dr. Borpleh is using his influence to ensure the disqualified candidate's participation in the election, which currently has only one candidate, Wilfred O. Taikerweyah, remaining in the race.
