Monrovia, Nov. 3 -- The Unity Party (UP) Alliance of Political Parties has praised President Joseph Boakai for what it describes as a "landmark diplomatic milestone" following the United States government's decision to extend the validity of visas for Liberian citizens from 12 months to 36 months.

Last week, the U.S. Embassy In Monrovia earlier announced that effective immediately, Liberian applicants for nonimmigrant visas would benefit from a 36-month validity period, allowing multiple entries within that time frame.
