India, Jan. 19 -- DCGpac, a leading B2B packaging and procurement solutions company, has inaugurated its first Smart Manufacturing Plant in Noida, marking a major milestone in its journey towards building a sustainable, technology-led, and globally integrated packaging ecosystem. Spread across 20,000 sq. ft., the facility commenced production on 18th January 2026 and has an initial manufacturing capacity of 250 tonnes per month, with plans for rapid scale-up.

The new facility represents DCGpacs strategic move towards backward integration, strengthening control across raw materials, manufacturing, quality assurance, fulfilment, and global distribution. The plant has been set up following a long-term investment commitment and a five-year strategic partnership with UKHI, a global material science company that has developed 100% biodegradable and compostable raw materials.

The Smart Manufacturing Plant will manufacture export-grade sustainable packaging solutions for eCommerce, Quick Commerce, Logistics, Retail, and D2C brands, serving customers across India, the UK, Germany, Australia, and the Middle East. Equipped with advanced extrusion, printing, sealing, and finishing machinery, the facility is supported by an in-house Quality Control (QC) Lab to ensure regulatory compliance and consistent product performance across global markets.

DCGpac clarified that this manufacturing initiative is strategic and complementary in nature and does not replace its existing vendor and manufacturing partner ecosystem. Instead, it strengthens DCGpacs ability to innovate faster, ensure consistent quality, and support global customers while continuing close collaboration with its nationwide and international partners.

With this launch, DCGpac has completed its full vertical integration framework spanning sustainable raw material sourcing, product manufacturing, AI-powered ProPac Platform, quality assurance, fulfilment, and international shipment. The integration is further strengthened by RePac, DCGpacs circular economy initiative focused on recycling and reuse of packaging materials.

Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Bansal, Founder, DCGpac, said, This manufacturing facility is a strategic milestone in our long-term vision of building a global, sustainability-first packaging ecosystem. Our partnership with UKHI and our backward integration into manufacturing allows us to control quality, scale faster, and deliver truly sustainable solutions to customers worldwide. We are not just building a factory, we are building future-ready supply chain infrastructure for the next generation of global commerce.

Looking ahead, DCGpac plans to build a network of Smart Manufacturing Facilities under its Smart Manufacturing Model over the next five years. The combined investment by DCGpac and its partners is expected to exceed 100 crore, aimed at creating a distributed, resilient, and future-ready manufacturing ecosystem to support growing domestic and international demand.

This milestone reinforces DCGpacs ambition to emerge as a global, AI-first, sustainability-driven packaging and supply chain solutions company.
