Mumbai, May 16 -- Karan Johar had planned to make a film called Shiddat for a very long time. In fact, he had even decided to cast Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. Shiddat did get made, but as Kalank, and with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The film tanked and fans would see Ranveer and Kareena in Takht that will release in April 2020. But guess what, now Shiddat is also being made but by a different maker.
Yes, Shiddat will now be made by Dinesh Vijan. The film, that has been announced today, will star Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal, Diana Penty and Mohit Raina. The film will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Kunal will be returning as a director after 5 years. His last film was the Emraan Hashmi starrer Raja Natwarlal.
