Mumbai, Feb. 19 -- Swades actress Kishori Ballal passed away yesterday. The actress, who had been a popular face in Kannada cinema, had been a part of many Bollywood films too, including Swades, Lafangey Parindey and Aiyya. It has been reported that she had been suffering from age related health issues and had been admitted to a hospital in Bangalore. Swades director, Ashutosh Gowarikar, had tweeted about this heart-breaking news.
On-screen son, Shah Rukh Khan, too reacted on the news. Sharing a picture from Swades, he recollected how she would often scold him for smoking. The actor wrote, "May her soul rest in peace. Kishori 'Amma' will be sorely missed. Especially how she used to reprimand me for smoking. May Allah look after her." Here'...
