Mumbai, Oct. 16 -- After proving her mettle as an actor and more recently as a director in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut is all set to don the hat of a producer as she gears up to launch her own production company early next year.

The actress has already started looking at reading scripts and is planning to back new talent and smaller films through her production company. Talking about the need to back small films, Kangana said, "If JudgeMentall Hai Kya was made without me on a budget of Rs 10 crore, it would have been a blockbuster at Rs 40 crore.
