Mumbai, April 4 -- Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown in 2020, many upcoming films were put on hold. Release dates were pushed indefinitely after theatres shut down and shooting came to an abrupt halt. While some filmmakers decided to wait for the situation to get better, many others opted for a direct digital release for their films so that audiences could enjoy premieres at home.
